76 new educational facilities will appear on the map of St. Petersburg. Such plans were announced by the mayor Alexander Beglov at the first reading of the draft budget for 2026-2028 at the Mariinsky Palace, which was held on October 29.

"The draft budget includes 75.4 billion rubles in the Targeted investment program for educational facilities. Some of the facilities will be donated by developers according to the current rules for housing," the mayor explained, quoting him 78.ru .

According to Beglov, in 2027, the renovation of buildings built in the early 19th century will be completed in the Northern Capital. We are talking about the Second Gymnasium and school No. 321.

During the reading of the draft budget, the governor said that 332.9 billion rubles would be allocated for social support over three years. The money, in particular, will be used to pay families with children, pregnant women and participants in a special military operation.
