From January to September 2025, the volume of production at industrial enterprises in the capital increased by 4.2% compared to the same period last year, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city actively promotes the development of the industrial sector of the capital. Thanks to this, enterprises are increasing their production capacities, expanding their product range and launching new investment projects. The effectiveness of support measures is also confirmed by the dynamics of indicators. Thus, in the first three quarters of 2025, industrial production in Moscow increased by 4.2 percent compared to January—September 2024," Maxim Liksutov emphasized.

Moscow manufacturers and investors have access to more than 20 support measures from the city authorities. These include localization of production in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, as well as preferential loans from the Moscow Fund for Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship. Thanks to this, about 150 technology companies open in the capital every year.

"According to the results of the three quarters of this year, the capital's manufacturing enterprises increased output by 5 percent. Manufacturers of clothing, textiles, electrical equipment, chemicals and products have shown the greatest growth among industries since the beginning of the year," said Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.
