Toyota has unveiled a conceptual prototype of the Corolla sedan, one of the brand's top global bestsellers, at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo. The prototype is intended to give an idea of what the 13th generation of the model will be like. The press service of the concern shared pictures of the model on October 29.

The prototype Toyota Corolla looks very different from the current generation of the model. It has a dynamic silhouette with angular lines and a long panoramic windshield, and an integrated duck tail spoiler protruding from the sloping roof at the stern.

The reimagined interior features a sleek design with small digital dashboard and passenger display screens, a floating center console with a car-shaped transmission selector and futuristic seats.

It is assumed that the production version of the new Toyota Corolla will make its market debut in 2026-2027 and will be offered with various power plants, including hybrid with internal combustion engine and fully electric.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Tenet T7 crossover, which is manufactured at the Kaluga AGR Holding plant, has become available with an all-wheel drive system. Previously, the Tenet T7 was offered only in two single-wheel drive configurations.
