The bureaucratic burden on Russian teachers has been reduced by 25 times due to the new regulatory framework. This was announced on October 29 by the head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, at a meeting on reducing administrative pressure on teachers.

"When we talk about how much it (the paper load — Ed.) has decreased in terms of the new regulatory framework, then on average we can say 25 times the amount of work," RIA Novosti quoted Muzaev as saying.

The head of the department stressed that many years of work to reduce the bureaucratic burden had brought results.

"We have been talking about this for many years, many instructions have been given, and for many years such orders have not been accepted. And in the end they were accepted," he concluded.

State Duma Deputy Speaker Boris Chernyshov said on October 26 that the bureaucratic burden on teachers hinders quality education. According to him, excessive bureaucracy in the educational system undermines the quality of education, turning teachers into clerks.
