Rosrybolovstvo estimated the profit from fish exports in 2025 to $6 billion.

Russian exports of fish products by the end of 2025 may amount to about $6 billion. This was announced on October 29 by the head of Rosrybolovstvo Ilya Shestakov.

On the same day, at a meeting with members of the government, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the consumption of fish and seafood by Russian citizens lags behind the recommended norm.
