The Tenet T7 crossover, which is manufactured at the Kaluga AGR Holding plant, has become available with an all-wheel drive system. This is stated in the message of Tenet Rus, which was received by Izvestia on October 29.

Previously, the Tenet T7 was offered only in two single-drive trim levels, Active and Prime (2.68 million and 2.88 million rubles, respectively), now the Prime all-wheel drive version has appeared in the range for 3.08 million rubles.

The powertrain with the introduction of all-wheel drive has not changed, a 1.6-liter 150 hp engine is installed under the hood in combination with a seven-speed robotic transmission. Fuel consumption averages 7 liters per 100 km, and acceleration from zero to 100 km/h takes 9.8 seconds. The maximum speed is 192 km/h.

The Tenet T7 all-wheel drive is equipped with 19-inch discs with red brake calipers, a full-size spare wheel, and a digital panel with two 12.3-inch screens. There are electric seat adjustments, dual-zone climate control and a full "winter" package, a contactless trunk opening function and wireless charging for a smartphone, a 540° all-round viewing system, six airbags and other options.

The Tenet model range is based on Chery, and the T4 (rebranded Tiggo 4), T7 (Tiggo 7L) and T8 (Tiggo 8 Plus) crossovers are produced in Russia under this brand. They have been produced since August at the former Volkswagen plant in the Kaluga region.

Earlier, on October 2, the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that the list of cars that meet the requirements of the law on taxi localization is planned to be expanded, including models under the Haval and Tenet brands, as well as cars manufactured at Kaliningrad Avtotor.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
