A man died in a fire caused by smoking in Primorye.

In the Chernigov district of Primorsky Krai, a man died as a result of a fire in a two-apartment apartment building. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reports this in its Telegram channel.

The fire occurred on Wednesday morning, October 29, in the village of Vadimovka. Rescuers who arrived at the extinguishing site found the body of a 66-year-old man in the house.

The fire area was about 30 square meters, according to PrimaMedia news agency. The investigators had previously established that the fire was caused by carelessness while smoking.

On October 20, a fire broke out in a semi-detached apartment building in the village of Novoangarsk in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. As a result, a woman died.
