Earlier, on October 24, the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, said that the city was preparing to install drawbridges on the Bolshoy Smolensky Bridge. According to him, the structure has already been assembled on a slipway on the left bank of the Neva River. Installation will begin after the end of navigation, the governor added.
