Air defense systems destroyed five Ukrainian drones over the territory of Crimea

In two hours, air defense systems destroyed five drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over Crimea. This was announced on October 29 by the Russian Ministry of Defense in the Telegram channel.

"From 07:00 to 09:00 Moscow time, five Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

The servicemen practiced joint operations using advanced technologies and experience gained during the special operation.

Earlier in the day, the air defense system eliminated 100 Ukrainian drones overnight. It was noted that 46 drones were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk Region, 12 over the Kaluga Region, eight over the Belgorod Region, and seven over the Krasnodar Territory. Six drones were eliminated over the territory of the Moscow region, including four flying to Moscow.

Six UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down over the territory of the Orel region, four over the Ulyanovsk region, three drones each over the territories of the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Mari El, two over the Stavropol Territory, and one drone each over the Kursk, Smolensk and Tula regions.
