Muscovites have made more than 9.7 thousand transfers and collected over 6.8 million rubles as part of the charity campaign "The Power of Support." The relevant information was published on the portal on October 29. mos.ru .

The promotion runs from September 5th. Residents of Moscow can support the fighters of the special military operation (SVO) with the help of points received for active participation in the electronic projects of the capital "City of Ideas", "Active Citizen", "Electronic House" and others. One point is equal to one ruble.

"It is possible to join the initiative and support the fighters of the special military operation (SVO), as well as residents of the border territories, up to and including November 23," the publication says.

The funds raised will be used to purchase equipment, ammunition, cars and medicines for the participants of the SVO. Food, clothing, building materials, personal hygiene products and other basic necessities will also be sent to residents of the border territories.

On October 25, SVO volunteer Elena Pronchenko with the call sign Pesenka told Izvestia how she got to SVO, why she decided to stay there and help soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. She noted that after her April business trip in the special operation area, she decided to quit her permanent job and move to Donbass, and also expressed gratitude to the military personnel who provided her with housing.
