The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in 2025 is being held in Gyeongju, Republic of Korea. The first footage from the scene on October 29 was shown by Izvestia.

According to correspondent Igor Baldin, despite its modest size by Asian standards, Gyeongchu has a special significance for the country. The city was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla, where all Korean history, science and culture came from.

It is noted that the Russian delegation at the APEC summit will be headed by Alexey Overchuk.
