Russians preferred the excursion limit when traveling
Most Russians are not ready to spend a lot of time and money on excursions during their trips, a study by OneTwoTrip service has shown. According to the data, which was reviewed by the Newspaper on October 29.Ru", 72.3% of travelers necessarily visit the main attractions of a new place, and 15.2% do it with enough time.
"During one trip, slightly more than half of tourists, or 50.5%, attend a maximum of three excursions. This shows that people value quality and convenience rather than the number of checkups," the study noted.
Russians most often go sightseeing on their own (45.8%), about 27% use combined options, 14.3% prefer group tours, and 12.9% choose individual guided tours.
According to the survey, 36.7% of tourists are willing to spend from 10 to 30 thousand rubles on excursions for the entire vacation. Another 23.1% allocate up to 50 thousand, and about 19% — up to 10 thousand rubles. Only 5.8% of respondents are willing to spend more than 100,000 rubles.
Travelers mostly dislike the discrepancy between expectations and reality: 73.9% considered the place overrated, 28.7% complained about the crowds of tourists, and 25% — about the poor condition of the facilities.
Earlier, on August 17, financial consultant Olga Matveeva noted that vacations often become a significant expense item. She recommended calculating expenses after a vacation, prioritizing and planning future major purchases in order to restore the budget faster.
