"On October 28, the General Directorate of Rocket Engineering of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea conducted a test launch of sea-to-ground strategic cruise missiles," the report said.
It is noted that vertically launched cruise missiles, modified to launch from a ship, hit the target, flying along a certain trajectory for more than 7.8 thousand seconds.
According to Pak Chong Chong, Deputy Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, such tests are necessary for the development of the DPRK's combat capability.
