- KillNet hackers announced data breach of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center
The Russian hacker group KillNet has claimed that it has gained access to the data of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, an undesirable organization recognized in Russia, as well as to the personal page of the wife of Eskender Bariev, a member of the banned Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People. This was reported on October 28 in KillNet.
"We have gained access to the page and data of the wife of the head of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center*, a member of the Mejlis** Eskender Bariev," representatives of the hacker group told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, on October 25, it was reported that the databases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) remain vulnerable, despite foreign funding. According to information from members of the KillNet hacker group, the main problem is the human factor, which can cause information to be accidentally disclosed. During a lengthy operation, hackers downloaded data, including documents on the activities of the largest manufacturer of drones, Combat Birds of Ukraine, which temporarily paralyzed the work of the relevant units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
