Armenian police detain opposition candidate for Prime Minister Ambartsumyan
Armenian police have arrested the mayor of the Masis community, David Ambartsumian, who is also nominated for prime minister from the opposition parliamentary factions "I have the Honor" and "Armenia". This was announced on October 28 by his colleague, a member of the movement "We are vigilant" Narek Malyan in his Telegram channel.
According to Malyan, Ambartsumyan was detained immediately after the arrival of the Moscow – Yerevan flight.
"I knew you would come here," Hambartsumyan told law enforcement officers during his detention.
