The results of a survey of newlyweds on wedding trends in 2025 have become known.

Moscow registry offices conducted a survey among almost 900 couples to determine the wedding trends of 2025. Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Social Development, said on Tuesday, October 28, newlyweds are increasingly choosing chamber celebrations with classical elements. Many people strive for comfort and simplicity — from the playground to the image of the bride and groom.

Most couples invite no more than 20 guests, and almost a fifth prefer to spend the day together. Only 8% plan large-scale holidays. More than 45% of brides choose a classic white dress, 32% choose minimalism, and 13% choose designer outfits. One third prefers traditional bouquets of light colors, and 17% prefer minimalism from a single variety of flowers, according to the Moscow City News agency.

About 65% of couples prepare a festive program, most often with a presenter and live music or a DJ. Single-tiered cakes are becoming a fashion trend, but classic multi-tiered desserts remain popular. More than 45% of couples order photo and video shooting.
