175 seedlings of maple, birch and Crimean pine were planted in Anthracite
Officials from the Stavropol Territory became participants of the green mission in Anthracite (Luhansk People's Republic). As part of the campaign, 100 maple, 50 birch and 25 Crimean pine saplings were planted, the press service of the regional Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment reports.
The delegation included Oleg Bezmenov, Minister of Natural Resources, and his subordinates, as well as forestry workers. It was headed by Ilya Drozdov, Deputy chairman of the regional government.
The event was also attended by representatives of the local administration, students and eco-activists.
Some of the trees were planted near the Anthracite City Hall and in the Shevchenko Park. The rest of the plants were transferred for subsequent plantings, writes IA StavropolMedia.
