The head of the ROSSETI Group told the Federation Council about the tasks in the electric grid complex.

At a meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy chaired by Andrey Kutepov, CEO of PJSC ROSSETI spoke about current production results, financial indicators, investments in the modernization and development of the electric grid infrastructure, the press service of ROSSETI reported.

In 2024, the ROSSETI Group completed an investment program of about 660 billion rubles, the plan for this year is a record 720 billion rubles, the head of the company said.

Andrey Ryumin noted the extensive work carried out by the company within the framework of the recently adopted law on Backbone Territorial Network Organizations (STSO). A contractual campaign is underway to "pick up" networks from territorial organizations that have lost their status, and the status of ownerless energy facilities is being further regulated. In addition, this year ROSSETI participated for the first time in the examination of investment program projects, as well as tariff requests from third-party network companies.

"Speaking of regulatory changes, it is impossible not to mention the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation adopted just last week, which allows determining the costs of territorial network organizations based on relevant standards. I am sure this will become an effective tool that will allow us to reduce the deficit of tariff funds, primarily for competitive remuneration of industrial personnel, financing repairs and other production programs," said Andrey Ryumin.

The head of Rosseti also stressed the importance of introducing a mechanism for regulatory agreements. It allows regulators and network companies to negotiate the implementation of investment projects within the framework of tariff indexation acceptable to consumers in the region. Such agreements are already in force in 38 regions of the Russian Federation.
