On October 28, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced the development of a comprehensive retraining program for specialists in the road industry, taking into account new technological challenges.

"In the coming years, we need to seriously increase labor productivity in the construction industry as a whole, and in the road industry, and in construction. The goal is to raise labor productivity by at least 22% by the year 30," Khusnullin stressed, answering a question from Izvestia.

He cited the example of a member of the SVO, who, after being seriously injured, mastered the management of unmanned road vehicles and has already demonstrated his skills as an operator who manages the process without being in the cockpit.

"Information systems, management through information systems, the use of artificial intelligence, the use of new technologies of materials, new technologies of construction and repair," Khusnullin listed the key areas of training.

He noted that all these programs are being developed on the basis of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering as the flagship of the construction industry in the field of education, which should transfer these programs to all specialized universities.

Khusnullin also emphasized the importance of retraining existing specialists, since the world does not stand still and new technologies are constantly emerging that require development.

On October 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated workers and veterans of motor transport, noting their key role in the development of the economy. The President stressed that thanks to industry specialists, industry and agriculture are developing, and the welfare of citizens is improving. The Head of State informed about the active modernization of the road infrastructure within the framework of national projects, the renewal of rolling stock and the increase in personnel training requirements. Separate words of gratitude were addressed to veterans, including front-line road workers and drivers.
