International Travel Forum "Travel!-2026" will be held at VDNKH from June 10 to June 14.

The Government of Russia hosted a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the International Tourism Forum "Travel!", chaired by Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by representatives of federal authorities, the Moscow government, relevant organizations and development institutions. The Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the International Tourism Forum "Travel!" made reports on the results of the Forum and plans for the preparation of the ITF "Travel!" in 2026. "Next year's forum is "Travel!“ it will be held for the 6th time. It will be held from June 10 to June 14 in Moscow at VDNH. The main objective of the Forum is to present the tourism potential of all regions of Russia, the variety of available types of recreation and create special offers for residents. Based on a government decree, the Forum has been granted international status since this year. The invitation campaign has already begun: in addition to representatives of our 89 constituent entities, we expect the participation of foreign delegations," said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Following the meeting, the dates and venue of the International Travel Forum "Travel!" in 2026 were approved. The forum will be held from June 10 to June 14 on the territory of VDNH and will be traditionally timed to coincide with Russia Day on June 12. The business program will be held from June 10 to 12, and June 12 will be Youth Day. The main theme of the Forum is "Culture of hospitality: expanding borders and strengthening ties."

"Tourism and hospitality are not just a branch of the economy, but a driver of national development. Every traveler contributes to the achievement of an important goal: by 2030, the number of trips in Russia should reach 140 million, and the share of the tourism industry in GDP should be 5 percent. The development of domestic tourism is the way to a strong economy. Through hospitality and travel, we achieve the national development goal, and the International Forum "Travel!"it shows how travel unites people and strengthens the country," said Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the International Travel Forum "Travel!" Anton Kobyakov.

The key events of the MTF "Travel!2026" will include a plenary session, an All-Russian meeting on tourism development, a business dialogue with the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, as well as meetings of working groups and sub-commissions of intergovernmental commissions on tourism with foreign countries. Additional events include award ceremonies, meetings with foreign partners, and information tours. Special attention will be paid to the promotion of the Forum on international platforms, the development of a program for foreign buyers and the synchronization of information tours under the national brand Discover Russia.

"The concept of the future Forum is based on the transition from plans to the demonstration of real achievements. We focus on practical results: we will show new tourist products and locations that have already been created and are ready to receive guests. Our task is not just to tell, but to demonstrate the competitiveness of the domestic tourism market. In 2026, the Forum will significantly expand its borders. We will increase not only the volume of the business program, but also the physical space of the event. The Cosmos and Atom pavilions will be used, as well as a completely renovated square, which will create a large-scale business platform to demonstrate the potential of Russian companies," said Dmitry Vakhrukov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

He also noted that a clear schedule for the preparation of the Forum has now been approved: the main topic will be determined by the end of November, and the full architecture of the program will become public in December. The final business program of the Forum will be published no later than April 15 next year.

The International Travel Forum "Travel!" remains a key platform for discussing strategic issues of tourism and hospitality development, combining business, exhibition and festival programs and promoting the tourism potential of Russian regions at the domestic and international levels.
