Preparation of pedestrian crossings for winter has begun in Krasnoyarsk. Road workers are installing anti-slip coverings on the steps, the press service of the Mayor's office reported on Telegram on Tuesday, October 28.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, we are talking about special mats that increase the adhesion of the sole to the surface and remove the stuck dirt and snow.

So, the steps have already been "dressed" in the passages on the streets of Weinbaum, Akademika Kirenskogo, 71, Kopylova, 78, and the Red Army, 137. In the near future, work will begin on Krasnomoskovskaya, Matrosova and Partizan Zheleznyak streets.

Earlier it was reported that in Krasnoyarsk, work has begun to strengthen the slope on Daurskaya Street. It was washed away by heavy rain last August, which caused part of the road to collapse.
