The Russian Fashion Industry is represented in Bahrain for the first time
On December 7, 2025, an event will take place in the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Manama, designed to turn the idea of Russian fashion in the Middle East upside down. For the first time, the Russian fashion industry will make its official debut in this alluring Middle Eastern arena, promising to be not just a collection showcase, but also a powerful statement about the quality and creativity of "Made in Russia".
Russian fashion, which is experiencing a period of rapid development and international expansion, is taking a decisive step forward, confidently entering new markets. This long-awaited event promises to become a bright milestone in the fashion world and a prestigious quality mark for domestic brands.
This step is a logical continuation of the successful expansion of the Russian fashion industry into international markets. After gaining a firm foothold in the territories of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, where more than 15 major Russian brands such as the mainstream 12 Storeez and Lime, as well as the sophisticated Monochrome and poetic Poison Drop, have won recognition for their originality, quality of materials and deep roots of traditions, it is the turn of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Russian fashion continues to leave far behind the traditional boundaries of consumer preferences, demonstrating an amazing variety of styles and approaches.
The Kingdom of Bahrain, although it is a new platform for Russian fashion, carries a huge potential for partnership. As Alexey Skosyrev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom, noted in 2025, Bahrain, especially its capital Manama, offers favorable government regulatory conditions and a developed financial system, making it an ideal "entry point" to the vast Persian Gulf market.
A new stage in the promotion of Russian fashion is coming with the opening of Bahrain Russian Fashion Week, organized by the Arfa Global Group initiative group. Arfa's business mission in Bahrain sees the creation of a space for dialogue as one of its most important tasks. Elena Lebedeva, founder of Arfa Global Group, emphasizes the main mission of the project: "The goal of our project is to create a bridge of mutual understanding between two cultures, to combine the inspiration of East and West."
The Arfa Business Mission Fashion Show is designed to become not only a showcase of fashion trends, but also a space for deep cultural exchange, establishing new business ties and finding intersections for future joint projects. For conceptual brands and designers from Russia and Bahrain, this is a new form of developing joint relationships and an opportunity to exchange creative and business approaches.
The Russian delegation, which has been strictly selected, will present the best examples of the domestic fashion industry. This is not just a demonstration of adult and children's fashion collections, jewelry and accessories, but also a unique opportunity for an international audience to get acquainted with the richness and diversity of Russia's cultural code. The presented directions will impress the viewer with the versatile approach of Russian companies to a number of areas.
Among the announced participants is the famous Firdaws fashion house by Aishat Kadyrova, whose distinctive features of clothing and accessories are adherence to tradition combined with modern fashion trends, exclusivity (each model is sewn in no more than three to five copies), as well as handmade decor.
Another member of the Russian fashion delegation will be the Fashion House IGORGULYAEV, founded by the outstanding designer Igor Gulyaev, known for its luxurious collections.
Special attention will be paid to brands developing under the leadership of Elena Lebedeva, founder of ARFA Global Group: Empire of Childhood and Alessandro Borelli children's clothing. The latter has already successfully established itself in the Persian Gulf market by opening its flagship boutique in the highly competitive Dubai Mall, which confirms its high potential and demand in the region.
The Eurasian News Agency plays a special role in the wide coverage and information support of this landmark event. As an official information partner, the agency will provide comprehensive coverage of the debut of the Russian fashion industry in Bahrain, distributing news, exclusive reports and interviews to key media, the business community and the general public of the Eurasian space and beyond. This participation highlights the importance of the event for strengthening cultural and economic ties between Russia, the Gulf states and the Eurasian region as a whole, contributing to the formation of a positive image of Russian fashion in the international arena.
The debut of the Russian fashion industry in Bahrain is not just another fashion event, it is a strategic step that opens up new horizons for dialogue, cooperation and cultural exchange, paving the way for further strengthening the positions of Russian brands on the global stage.
