Law enforcement agencies have detained participants in a robbery that took place at a house worth 57 million rubles in the Moscow region. This was announced on October 28 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.

According to the agency, four intruders in balaclavas entered an apartment building in the village of Zhabkino. They locked the woman and her three children in the bathroom, and the owner of the house was tied up with belts. As a result, the defendants stole money worth more than 57 million rubles and then disappeared.

"The operatives identified the suspects and, with the support of the Russian Guard, detained three of them. They turned out to be previously convicted residents of Balashikha, Odintsovo and Moscow," she wrote on the Telegram channel.

A criminal case has been opened against the attackers on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery").

On October 15, it was reported that in St. Petersburg, intruders had replaced the contents of a safe in the rented apartment of an associate professor at the University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which contained money and jewelry. It was noted that the safe contained documents for real estate in Sochi and Vyborg, 150,000 rubles, $500, €1,000 and jewelry. The amount of material damage is almost 2.5 million rubles.
