Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexey Zolotnitsky said goodbye in Moscow
In Moscow, they said goodbye to 79-year-old Honored Artist of Russia, theater and film actor Alexei Zolotnitsky. Footage from the funeral service on October 28 is published by Izvestia.
The funeral service was held in the necropolis of the Vagankovo cemetery. Not only relatives came to see the actor off, many people gathered near the cemetery.
Zolotnitsky's death became known on October 25. Zolotnitsky played the role of Rogers in the movie "Ten Little Niggers", played the main bandit in the 1990s crime drama "Train to Brooklyn" and starred in the cult "Black Square". In addition, he was widely known as a dubbing actor. His voice was spoken by such world cinema stars as Alain Delon, Robert de Niro, Anthony Hopkins and Robert Redford.
People's Artist of Russia, theater and film actor Sergei Ugryumov, in an interview with Izvestia on October 25, said that the honored Artist was phenomenally skilled in acting. The actor shared that at the beginning of his theatrical career Zolotnitsky was a real example for him. He expressed his condolences to Zolotnitsky's family and friends, as well as to the audience, who appreciated his amazing dubbing.
