Moscow will allocate 450 million rubles for the development of taxi and carsharing
In 2025, the Moscow government will allocate 450 million rubles for the development of taxi and carsharing. The funds will be used to upgrade the fleet, the capital's Deptrans announced in its Telegram channel on October 28.
Applications from legal entities and individual entrepreneurs will be accepted on November 26-30. Those registered as taxpayers in Moscow (for taxis and carsharing), as well as individuals with registered self-employment (for taxis), will be able to receive a subsidy. The applicant must have concluded a lease agreement or a loan agreement and have no arrears in the payment of mandatory payments.
In particular, applicants from the taxi industry must have a permit to transport passengers and luggage in Moscow. Data on carsharing vehicles must be transmitted to the Internal Combustion Engine, and parking permits are also required for cars with internal combustion engines.
A subsidy can be obtained for the purchase of a car assembled in Moscow (for taxis, with the exception of a car with a lift for side boarding through a sliding door). The ecological class of the car should be at least Euro 5, and the cost of the car should not exceed 5 million rubles (no more than 10 million in the case of an electric car). In addition, no more than six years must elapse from the date of manufacture of the car on the date of application.
On October 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation published a primary list of cars that meet the requirements of the law on taxi localization, which will be operational from March 2026. It includes models of Lada, UAZ, Sollers, Moskvich, Evolute and Voyah brands. Later, the ministry clarified that the list is planned to be expanded, including models under the Haval and Tenet brands, as well as cars manufactured at Kaliningrad Avtotor.
