A three-year-old boy was admitted to the Yessentuki hospital after he swallowed stones. The child was admitted with pain and bloating, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Stavropol Territory reported on Tuesday, October 28.

No one guessed the causes of the baby's ailment until the doctors took an X-ray. The results of the study showed that there are more than 25 stones of different sizes in the intestines of a small patient. Exactly how he swallowed them is unknown.

The doctors did not resort to surgical methods, but prescribed anti-inflammatory and cleansing therapy for the boy. He was monitored for five days. As a result, the stones left the body naturally, writes IA StavropolMedia.

The child's condition improved, and the ingress of many foreign objects did not cause damage to his body. Doctors have urged parents to be vigilant and seek immediate medical help if their children have swallowed something.

Earlier in October, it was reported that a one-year-old boy died in Yekaterinburg after drinking several sips of tea. According to the source, the child had no health problems.
