Sovcombank has opened a loan facility for RusHydro worth 20 billion rubles
Sovcombank and Rushydro, one of the largest companies in the Russian electric power industry and a leader in renewable energy production, have signed an agreement to open a renewable credit facility. The amount of financing is 20 billion rubles, and the agreement is valid until 2035.
The funds received will be used to finance the company's current and investment activities, the bank stressed.
In addition to the agreement with the parent company, this year Sovcombank also won competitions and entered into loan agreements with three of the group's largest subsidiaries.
The bank noted that they have been cooperating with Rushydro "for a long time and fruitfully." Starting in 2025, the parties have significantly increased the volume of business and expanded the format of interaction. "This confirms the high level of trust in the bank and our expertise in working with key players in the energy sector," said Mikhail Autukhov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank, Head of Corporate Investment Business.
