In the Tula region, in October, former miners and pilots were paid an additional pension supplement. This is reported by the press service of the regional branch of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation.

TSN24, referring to the agency, explains that the surcharge is formed from additional contributions transferred monthly to the SFR by employers. It is credited to those who retired from preferential positions.

The amount of allowances is reviewed quarterly, but due to the delay in the receipt of contributions, outdated data is sometimes taken into account. In September, the government gave instructions to take into account more recent receipts. This led to an increase in payments.

Thus, after recalculation, 4,667 rubles were credited to former employees of the coal industry of the Tula region, and 27,104 rubles for pilots.

Earlier, on October 28, the leader of the Fair Russia party, the head of the Duma faction, Sergei Mironov, proposed paying pensioners the 13th pension for the New Year holidays. It is noted that these funds will not only help the elderly celebrate the New Year holidays, but also restore social justice.
