A new factory for the manufacture of prefab structures for the Renovation Program has been launched in Moscow on Belokamennoe Highway. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

As the mayor noted in his channel in the MAX, "prefab structures "are extremely convenient for the construction of houses, since they only need to be installed on the construction site." The use of prefab technologies makes it possible to reduce the construction time of housing by 30-50%, while at the same time achieving a higher quality of the structures themselves, which can be in operation for more than a century, Sobyanin stressed.

"Over the past three years, almost 100 new buildings have been built in the capital with the help of prefab structures," the mayor wrote. "Thanks to the launch of a new factory, even more such houses will appear."

The volume of structures that will be produced at the new facility will make it possible to annually produce structures for the construction of at least 500 thousand square meters of housing, Sobyanin noted. Accordingly, "Muscovites will be able to move faster from dilapidated housing to new comfortable apartments," the mayor stressed.

Earlier in October, Sobyanin announced that in 2026-2028, more than 215 thousand Muscovites will move or begin moving under the renovation program. The draft budget for three years provides for 1.429 trillion rubles for the implementation of the renovation program, a total of 8.7 million square meters will be built. m housing.

Over the past eight years, more than 420 new residential complexes have been built in Moscow under the renovation program. Over 500 more are being designed and built, the mayor said earlier. The program was approved in Moscow on August 1, 2017. It includes 5,176 houses — about 350,000 apartments with a total area of 16.4 million square meters, which are home to almost a million residents.
