The perpetrator is expected to be released from custody in Brooklyn on May 8, 2028. However, according to the publication, this date may change: if the star's lawyer's request for transfer and treatment for drug addiction is granted, the period will be reduced by 12 months.

"His sentence may be shortened by a year, but subject to the completion of a drug treatment program for prisoners with substance abuse problems," the TV channel clarifies.

The musician was taken into custody in New York on September 17, 2024 by court order. It was clarified that he has been under intense scrutiny since his ex-girlfriend accused him of human trafficking and years of violence in 2023. On the same day, law enforcement officers charged the rapper with human trafficking and prostitution.

On October 3 of this year, Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison for human trafficking and sexual assault.
