Six aftershocks of magnitude up to 4.8 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka. On October 28, the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory reported.
"Six aftershocks of magnitude from 3.8 to 4.8 occurred during the day," the department's Telegram channel said.
They added that no tremors were felt in nearby settlements. In addition, the ministry warned about the continued activity of volcanoes Shiveluch, Klyuchevsky, Bezymyanny, Karymsky, Kambalny and Krasheninnikov.
On October 25, an earthquake of magnitude 6.3 was registered off the Southern coast of Kamchatka in the Pacific Ocean. It was noted that the epicenter was 373 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and the depth of the hypocenter was about 22 km.
