Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) intercepted negotiations of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during their defensive actions. This was reported on October 28 in the law enforcement agencies.

"By intercepting the radio program, it was established that a serviceman with the call sign Kava was performing combat missions as part of the 85th separate battalion of the 105th separate Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is the commander of one of the units," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the source as saying.

It is noted that the Ukrainian military reported on the mopping up of positions of Ukrainian troops conducted by Russian military personnel.
