Russians were given the amount of pension for non-working pensioners in 2026. The amount of the insurance pension will be more than 27 thousand rubles. This was announced by Yulia Finogenova, Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Finance at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

"The average size of the accrued old-age insurance pension in the Russian Federation as of July 1, 2025 for non-working pensioners was 25,826.03 rubles. Consequently, after indexing by 7.6%, its size will increase to 27 788.8 rubles," the TASS news agency quoted her as saying.

It is noted that the size of the social pension will also change. However, at the moment there is no information about the indexing coefficient.
