The State Duma named the size of the maternity capital at the birth of the first child in 2026. It will amount to 737,205 rubles. This was announced by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection, Fatherhood, Motherhood and Childhood, Tatiana Butskaya.
"According to the draft budget [of the Social Fund of Russia], at the birth of the first child, the maternity capital will amount to 737,205 rubles in 2026," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
It is noted that by 2027 this number may also increase to 766,693,3 rubles, and by 2028 — to almost 800 thousand rubles.
