Sakhalin's electricity supply has been partially restored

Electricity supply in Sakhalin has been partially restored. This was announced on October 28 by the governor of the Sakhalin region, Valery Limarenko.

"The Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk [thermal power plant] CHPP is preparing to be connected to the grid and set the load. Some residents have already received electricity," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Earlier that day, Limarenko reported an emergency power outage on Sakhalin. At the same time, it was noted that the generation facilities are working properly. The investigation of the reasons for the power outage has begun.
