The preliminary hearing of the murder of Conservative activist Charlie Kirk has been postponed to January 16, 2026. This was reported on October 27 by the Deseret News newspaper.
"Tyler Robinson, accused of murder <...> Kirk, was scheduled to appear in court for the first time during a preliminary hearing on Thursday. But <... His preliminary hearing was postponed until January 16, and his arraignment will follow on January 30," the publication said.
It is noted that Robinson's lawyers have filed requests for permission for the suspect to wear civilian clothes and to restrict media coverage of the case. They were approved by Judge Tony Graf.
