A dermatologist has dispelled the myth about the dangers of makeup training
Doing sports with makeup does not pose a serious danger to the skin if you use good quality cosmetics. About this on October 27, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by dermatologist Yulia Gallyamova.
According to the expert, the main role is played by the composition and quality of cosmetics, as well as the individual characteristics of the skin.
"There are poor-quality cosmetics that can mix with sweat and cause an additional allergic reaction. But in most cases, I have not seen such moments," Gallyamova said.
She added that during exercise, the pores expand, and sweat increases the penetration of cosmetics into the skin, so with prolonged exertion, the risk of irritation or allergic reactions increases.
"Cosmetics are an artificial substance, and in any case they are always an allergen. When combined with sweat, chemical reactions are possible that increase the risk of irritation," the dermatologist explained.
Earlier, on October 25, dermatologist and cosmetologist Zarema Omarova told Izvestia that excessive use of fabric masks and patches can harm the skin. According to her, excessive wearing time of such products leads to loss of moisture, irritation and disruption of the protective functions of the skin.
