Traffic has been restored on Vernadsky Avenue after the accident. The press service of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development announced this on Monday, October 27.

"Traffic on Vernadsky Avenue has been restored," the Moscow City News Agency quoted the report as saying.

Earlier that day, an eight-year-old girl was hit by a car in the capital, who was crossing the road in the wrong place at the Krylatskoye metro station, writes RIAMO.

Izvestia's footage shows that ambulances, rescue services, and law enforcement agencies are present at the scene. The victim lies motionless under the back of the car.

According to the source, the victim was diagnosed with a broken leg, and she has already been taken to the Filatov hospital. Police officers are working at the scene of the accident, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
