Neuropsychologist Irina Akopova told how to develop positive habits in the body.

In conversation with the agency RuNews24.Ru On Monday, October 27, she explained that dopamine neural pathways help form positive habits in 45 days. Dopamine, she says, affects the perception of success and failure, and its increase is associated with a sense of joy and satisfaction.

The expert emphasized that global achievements are not needed to produce dopamine — small steps are enough. She advises celebrating even minor victories, moving towards goals gradually, breaking down unpleasant tasks into parts and adjusting the difficulty level to maintain motivation.

According to her, such simple actions help activate dopamine and eventually form stable positive habits.

Earlier on October 27, clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst Vladimir Krupin, in an interview with RT, said that a pleasant event in the middle of the week would make it easier to get through six working days. He advised making detailed plans for the weekend to improve your mood and make it easier to get through workdays, notes 360.ru . He added that it is sometimes useful to "take 8-10-15 deep slow breaths": this will systematize thoughts and calm feelings.

In September, Charles H. Schmidt, Senior Research Advisor at the Schmidt College of Medicine. Hennekens stated that lifestyle interventions can help improve memory and cognitive abilities. The same changes that have been effective in reducing the risks of cardiovascular and other serious diseases can help slow cognitive decline.
