The average cost of a CTP policy decreased in the third quarter for all categories of Russian drivers. This was announced to the Auto Mail project on Monday, October 27, by analysts bip.ru , having studied the data of 2.2 million users.

For motorists with a good bonus-malus coefficient (from 0.46 to 1), the price of the policy fell by an average of 3.6% (by 251 rubles), for novice drivers with a CBM of 1.17 — by 1.3% (by 213 rubles), and for drivers with high CBM values (from 1.76 to 3.92) — by 6.3% (for 1,870 rubles).

The most favorable conditions for accident-free drivers with KBM 0.46 were offered by Sber, where the average cost of CTP was 4006 rubles. The most expensive policies for this category of drivers were in the companies MAKS (4876 rubles), VSK (4837 rubles) and Zetta Insurance (4807 rubles).

Sberbank (by 9%), Alfastrakhovanie (by 6.8%) and SOGAZ (by 4.6%) reduced the price of CTP for accident-free drivers the most compared to the previous quarter. The cost of "open" policies with the "multi-drive" option decreased by 2% — from 37,272 to 36,512 rubles. The maximum decrease was recorded in the Leningrad Region (by 4.3%), Moscow (by 3.2%) and St. Petersburg (by 2%).

Earlier on October 27, the State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation recommended the adoption in the first reading of a bill that prohibits repeated fines during the day for driving without CTP.

On October 26, Ekaterina Romanova, director of the Professional Legal Group AID, said that starting in November, the cameras of the photo-video recording will begin to check the availability of a valid CTP policy for cars. In his absence, the owners will automatically be fined 800 rubles for the first violation and several thousand rubles for repeated violations. 360.ru .

On October 6, the head of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, Anatoly Aksakov, told RT that an experiment to control the availability of CTP through video surveillance cameras could be launched in three regions.
