The seven-seat crossover Nordcross 001 is entering the Russian market, the dealer holding Major announced on October 27. The model is based on the Volvo XC90 platform. The Nordcross 001 is a full—size premium crossover with a soft hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive system. The dimensions of the model are 5042×1977× 1780 mm with a wheelbase of 2984 mm. The crossover is based on the Chinese Lynk&Co 09.

The suv is equipped with a two-liter internal combustion engine with a capacity of 254 hp in combination with an 8-speed automatic. The equipment includes four-zone climate control, a set of driver assistance systems, automatic parking functions and a multimedia system with support for the Russian language and multiple displays.

The Chinese Cars portal clarifies that the starting price of the Nordcross 001 will be 5.99 million rubles. As previously reported, the Nordcross trademark was registered in September last year by the distributor of the Belgee and Knewstar brands in Russia, Slava Motors Rus. Initially, the start of sales of the Nordcross 001 was planned in the first half of 2025.
