Russian Leader Vladimir Putin has approved the updated composition of the presidium of the Presidential Council on Interethnic Relations. The relevant document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on October 27.
According to the decree, the council includes Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Nikolai Vinnichenko, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Nationalities Valery Ivanov and First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Andrei Kikot.
Valentina Kazakova, head of the Main Migration Department of the Russian Interior Ministry, and Anatoly Razinkin, First Deputy Prosecutor General, were also excluded from the council.
Earlier, on October 27, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the interim governor of the Tver Region would be appointed in the near future. According to the press secretary, Vladimir Putin and the presidential administration are selecting the most suitable candidate for this post.
