The participants of the International Cooperation Forum visited the Victory Museum in Moscow and laid flowers in memory of the fallen in the Great Patriotic War. The footage of the event is published by Izvestia on October 27.

"Yesterday at the forum, we talked about what our history and the history of our victory in the Great Patriotic War mean to us. <...> This is a very important, core part of our identity. This is why the topic of preserving peace is sacred to Russia, to the Russian people," said Yevgeny Primakov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo, in his speech.

The first Cuban cosmonaut Arnaldo Tamayo, in an interview with Izvestia, said that the forum discusses topics from the field of international relations, especially in the context of the 80th anniversary of the Victory and the 65th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Cuba and the USSR.

"The Forum unites all the principles aimed at maintaining world peace, combating hegemony and promoting a multilateral approach," he said.

Earlier, on October 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in greeting the participants of the International Cooperation Forum, stated that the efforts of public diplomacy contribute to ensuring Russia's legitimate interests in the international arena. In addition, with the help of public diplomacy, cooperation between the Russian Federation and like-minded countries and allies is being strengthened in order to build a multipolar world order.
