The State traffic Inspectorate announced a preventive raid in Moscow
The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate announced the holding of a Pedestrian prevention event in the capital. It will take place tomorrow, October 28, the press service of the department reported in its Telegram channel.
During the raid, traffic patrol officers will monitor the observance of traffic rules by both pedestrians and drivers.
Traffic police officers will carry out information and explanatory work with children and adults on the rules of road safety when crossing the carriageway, as well as norms of behavior in the residential area and in courtyards, the State Traffic Inspectorate noted.
The last such raid took place in Moscow on August 19. Traffic police stopped 750 violations related to drivers' failure to provide an advantage to pedestrian traffic. Pedestrian road users violated traffic regulations 1,341 times.
Earlier, on October 22, it was reported that from March 1, 2027, an automated data exchange system between medical institutions and the traffic police will begin operating in Russia, which will allow for the rapid identification of drivers with dangerous diseases.
