Farmers of Transbaikalia reported on the results of the harvesting campaign

In Transbaikalia, farms harvested more than 2.3 thousand tons of outdoor vegetables during the harvesting campaign. More cabbage has been harvested. This is reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.

Cabbage, carrots and beets were harvested on an area of 70.6 hectares. It was possible to obtain 1.8 thousand tons of cabbage, 323 tons of beetroot and 216 tons of carrots. This is about the same amount as was collected last year.

Most of the vegetables were grown in Chita district. According to the ChitaMedia news agency, 95% of the cultivated areas of open-ground vegetables are located there. 2.2 thousand tons of products were collected in the area.

Earlier, on October 20, it was reported that large-scale mechanized harvesting of outdoor vegetables had started in Crimea. To date, more than 70 tons have already been harvested from an area of 6.19 hectares. We are talking about cleaning the so-called "borscht set". These are onions (more than 19 thousand tons), carrots (over 9 thousand tons), cabbage (5 thousand tons) and beets (3 thousand tons). Farmers also harvested more than 17 thousand tons of melons.
