A woman and a child were injured in an accident involving a truck on the Island

In the city of Ostrov in the Pskov region, a woman and a child were injured in a collision between a car and a truck. This was reported to the Pskov news feed by the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred last Sunday, October 26, at the intersection of Kalinin and War Veterans Streets. According to the traffic police, the 32-year-old Lada Granta driver did not yield to the Scania truck when turning left at an unregulated intersection. The cars collided.

As a result of the accident, a 34-year-old woman and a child under the age of two were injured. Both were in a passenger car.

The circumstances of the collision are being established.

On October 26, an accident was reported in the Kaliningrad region, where a BMW driver drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Kia on the Gvardeysk–Neman highway – the border with the Republic of Lithuania. The driver and four passengers of the BMW were injured.
