Amur tiger attacks cows in one of the villages of Primorye
In the village of Filippovka, Primorsky Krai, the Amur tiger attacked a cow again. This is the predator's second visit in three days.
However, according to Sergey Aramilev, director of the Amur Tiger Center, quoted by PrimaMedia news agency, it is necessary to wait for the conclusions of specialists, since wounds on the cow's body are atypical for a tiger attack.
The specialist noted that cats do not grab their knees, as dogs usually do. The stripes on the back of the cow match the number of claws of a cat, but the distance between the claws is very large.
The agency writes that residents have noticed Amur tigers in the area of Bolshoy Kamen and Nakhodka. Videos of meetings with predators appeared on social networks, but experts questioned the authenticity of the publications, since they did not record the appearance of Amur tigers on the ground.
Earlier, on October 14, a tiger mauled the keeper of the Periyar Nature Reserve in India. It was clarified that the body of the deceased, partially eaten by a tiger, was found in Ponnampalamedu, in the Sabarimala forest area.
