Albania's virtual minister in charge of public procurement, Diella, is pregnant. This was announced on October 27 by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

"Diella is pregnant, she is expecting 83 children — one for each member of our parliament. These children will serve as deputies' assistants. <...> These children will have all their mother's knowledge of the European Union and European legislation," Rama said.

It is noted that the "children" will participate in parliamentary meetings, keep a record of everything that happens, inform and prompt deputies how to react.
