On November 1, amendments to tax legislation will come into force in Russia, which allow the Federal Tax Service (FTS) to collect debts from individuals without going to court. The corresponding publication is posted on the website of the Federal Tax Service.

The innovation concerns tax debts that citizens calculate on their own, including when filing declarations and conducting professional activities.

Debtors will have 30 days to challenge the claims. If there are insufficient funds in the accounts, the agency will be able to foreclose on the debtor's property according to the established procedure.

It is noted that the introduction of a pre-trial write-off procedure will speed up the debt collection process, increase tax collection and reduce the judicial burden.,

On October 2, Maria Antonova, a lecturer at the Department of Taxes and Tax Administration at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, named an algorithm for actions in case of suspected error in calculating property taxes. According to the expert, in this situation, you should not pay for it immediately, you should check all real estate objects, verify the correctness of the cadastral numbers of land plots, the engine power of the car, the cancellation or introduction of local benefits and other nuances.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
