The first ever tournament for the Ataman's Cup of the All-Russian Cossack Society was held in Moscow. Participants from all over the country demonstrated their skills in various martial arts techniques.
The first Cup of the All-Russian Cossack army in mixed martial arts gathered participants from all over the country, namely from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Donetsk and Krasnodar.
"I've been to many places in Russia. A lot, I've toured it six times in tournaments, from the zonal to the world levels. This is one of the biggest," said Alexander Oganezov, a participant in the tournament.
Vyacheslav Datsik, a fighter, came to the Cossack tournament to support the participants and test the strength of his blow. In addition, Denis Sorokin, who is showing courage in the special operation zone (SVO), decided to test his strength. According to him, he came to the competition for support. He also expressed the hope that there would be more similar tournaments.
"We can show with these competitions that we are not blocked, that such competitions are held at an excellent, high level. The most important thing is the spirit that the athletes show," added Anton Ermishin, coach of the patriotic club "Spetsvzvod", an employee of the SOBR.
Although the All-Russian Ataman Cup tournament is being held for the first time, it can compete with major tournaments in the country in terms of scale and level of fights. In addition to the sporting goals, these competitions have another one: to unite representatives of the Cossacks throughout the country.
A unique museum of the history of the Cossacks in Russia opened in the center of Moscow on June 24. It is located in the building of an old mansion in Bolshoy Levshinsky Lane, which housed the Palace Department before the 1917 revolution. It is noted that the exhibition reveals the development of the civil service of the Cossacks from the 15th century to the present day.
